The Firefloods have passed and now survivors face the Cinder Age. Web, Liby, Nettie and Bel have all worked in F & F for a while now, researching the wildlife that was lost. The new girl arrives. It’s always a bit difficult when the new girl arrives.

This project brings together critically-acclaimed writer Claire Urwin and award-winning director Rajiv Nathwani for the world premiere of Stitches, in collaboration with the University of Manchester Drama Society.
“You wonder what Urwin will produce next.” – Three Weeks
Claire is one of the UK’s brightest talents in new writing, collecting a ‘National Student Drama Festival (NSDF) Edinburgh Emerging Artist's Competition Commendation for New Writing’, followed up by the 2008 ‘International Student Playscript Competition’ award in 2009 for her first play, How Hard It Happens.
The University of Manchester graduate followed up her debut success with No Wonder, a nightmarish take on childhood fairytales, which was selected for the NSDF festival earlier this year.
“There is much to like about this intense piece.” – The Scotsman
Rajiv boasts an array of directing credits, including 4:48 Psychosis which scooped awards in the ‘Best Director’, ‘Best Ensemble’ and ‘Best Set’ categories at the Manchester In-Fringe Theatre Festival.
